depends, idk, but my guess is, well u know that the game download to the NES, so IDK y it could mess up the download, but i dont have Game Genie either, so im not sure.

And you should, but it’s not recommended, use codes if you are in a pinch and want to beat the game. I don’t recommend it, but still… Codes are like drugs. Winners don’t use codes.
